Centrifugal blower Services

High-pressure blowers are widely used in industrial and commercial places. At all these places harmful or unpleasant gasses can build up and effective ventilation systems are a must.

When there is a requirement for larger volumes of airflow at higher pressures blowers are used.  A fan with a higher pressure ratio can be called as a blower provided it produces high pressures. Like industrial fans, blowers are widely used in industrial processes where a constant flow of air/gas is needed at higher pressures.  Industries where combustion air for burners or conveying material in dust collector systems,  drying & cooling, general ventilation & circulation of air and so on, blowers are used. In industrial vacuum systems where suction or negative pressures are required blowers with higher efficiency are used.

Fans, blowers and compressors are differentiated by the method used to move the air, and by the system pressure they must operate against. The selection of fan and blower depends on the volume flow rate, pressure, type of material handled, space limitations, and efficiency. Blowers can achieve much higher pressures than fans. To produce negative pressures for industrial vacuum systems blowers are used.

Industrial blowers are broadly divided into two types, centrifugal blowers and positive-displacement blowers. Because of their wide operating ranges and high speed capabilities. Centrifugal blowers have several advantages over other blower types

Centrifugal blowers have different drive mechanisms such as belt, variable and direct driven. To adjust the air flow rates centrifugal blowers are fitted with dampers & louvers, ducts and other similar airflow resistant components. They can either be single or multi-stage unit and can have different blade orientations such as radial, forward curved and backward curved. Where a uniform airflow is required, single stage centrifugal blower are used and when there is a requirement for varying flow of air at a fixed pressure multi-stage blower are useful.

Based on their ability to generate pressure during operation, Centrifugal blowers are  classified. They are low pressure, medium pressure and high pressure centrifugal blowers. Centrifugal blowers look more like centrifugal pumps than fans. One characteristic feature of centrifugal blower is that airflow tends to drop drastically as system pressure increases, which can be a disadvantage in material conveying systems that depend on a steady air volume and hence they are most often used in applications that are not prone to clogging.

Centrifugal blowers are useful in industrial applications to move bulk volumes of air at low-to-medium static pressures in radial direction as they operate at high impeller speeds. Centrifugal blowers are available in multiple sizes & blade arrangements and hence they are a better choice for places where space is a premium.

In industrial applications where there is a requirement for constant flow of larger volumes of air such as in ventilation, combustion, transporting materials, cooling and heating systems, dust control, air conveyor systems, industrial vacuum applications and in other industrial processes, centrifugal blowers are widely.

Centrifugal blowers vary on the basis of their air flow capacity, blower type, blower dimension, and maximum operating pressure. Based on the requirement, blowers of various types can be customized and installed to serve the needs of diverse industrial applications.

Positive-displacement blowers have rotors, which “trap” air and push it through housing. These blowers provide a constant volume of air even if the system pressure varies and are suitable for applications prone to clogging as they produce enough pressure to blow clogged materials free. They turn much slower than centrifugal blowers and are often belt driven to facilitate speed changes.

Industrial pump are heavy-duty process pump used to move many different types of products, including water, chemicals, petroleum, wastewater, oil, sludge, slurry or food. The types of pumps typically used for industrial purposes include centrifugal pumps and positive displacement pumps. The most commonly used type of pump in industries is Centrifugal Pumps to transfer fluids. Centrifugal Pumps uses a rotating impeller to move water or other fluids by using centrifugal force. They are used in a wide range of industries like agriculture, water and wastewaterplants, industrial, power generation plants, petroleum, mining, chemical, pharmaceutical, and many more.

Centrifugal pumps can be classified into several types depending on their design, construction, application, service, compliance with a national or industry standard, etc. Depending on the number of impellers in the pump, pumps can be classified as Single stage,Two-stage and Multi-stage.

We rebuild all types of pumps and blowers to bring its operation back to OEM specifications. The technicians have been factory trained in the process of vacuum pump repair. After the repair or remanufacturing process is complete, each item is system tested to ensure proper operation, OEM specification verification, and extended operation under load and also with stocks of spares to support older or obsolete equipment which OEM no longer supports. We use only OEM parts for repairs to ensure the highest quality of work and extend the life of your equipment. You can repair, rebuild, or exchange your pump with our replace program.
